SBC April 12th – Tom Morin, CEO, Morinwood Manufacturing

Good morning Sidney Breakfast Club members. It’s our April meeting already!

We’re excited to have secured Tom Morin of Morinwood Manufacturing (Keating X Rd.) to help us bring in the Spring season. Morinwood (http://morinwood.ca/) orchestrates interior finishes on institutional construction projects.  Morinwood’s work scope includes Architectural millwork, Systems furniture, Metal labs,  Acoustic paneling, Wall protection, and Specialties. As we do for every speaker, we ask for a short bio…Tom forwarded me the following paragraph…we’re gonna have fun…join us next Thursday, April 12th.

Tom Morin (that’s me) apprenticed as a cabinet maker and toiled in the wood working racket in Ottawa and Toronto before moving with his family to the west coast in 2005.  He finally stepped onto the entrepreneurial roller coaster at the age of 40.  Having no idea what he was in for, Tom bears the scars of callouses earned through building an organization that makes millwork for big construction projects.  He used to think he was clever but now mostly works on growing people and getting them to do the work.

Please join us on Thursday / April 12th / 7am and RSVP (john@harbourdigitalmedia.com) only if you plan on attending. As always, the meeting is held at 7am on the 2nd Thursday of every month at the Victoria Flying Club Dakota Café (http://www.dakotacafesidney.com/).

A PDF version for posting and distribution can be accessed here – Agenda – Apr. 12th, 2018.
