Sandra Amador

Sandra Amador –  Director of Continuous Improvement, VMAC Global Technology Inc.

Sandra Amador is a Quality and Continuous Improvement professional with over 25 years of Industry based experience. She has worked in different industries including industrial cleaning agents, welding materials, compressed gasses, and pharmaceuticals.She had seen the evolution of the Total Quality Management (TQM) concepts into what many now refer to Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.

Sandra has successfully guided business divisions through the ISO 9001 certification process, including small distribution centres to complex manufacturing facilities.

Sandra’s experience in the manufacturing industry has given her a clear understanding of how much leadership commitment affects employee engagement and empowerment; two key factors in making or breaking the success of a business.

Sandra is a Chemical Engineer that has made a career within the Quality and Continuous Improvement fields utilizing her training in Operations Management and as Certified Quality Auditor, constantly learning about the interactions of processes and people.

She is also an active member of the American Society for Quality, representing the ASQ Vancouver chapter as their Voice of the Customer chair.
