SBC November 14th, 2019 – Lindsay Dault, the Owner/Manager of Country Bee Honey Farm

Good morning SBC members! This month’s November 14th SBC meeting follows up on our most informative Agri-Tourism based meeting from last month. We’re excited to announce that Lindsay Dault, the Owner/Manager of Country Bee Honey Farm (https://www.countrybeehoney.ca/) will be our November speaker.

In 2009 Lindsay and Jason Dault started their Vancouver based business Urban Bee Supplies.  It started in a 9’ x 12’ suite at the back of their house and quickly expanded to a warehouse in Ladner B.C.  Once the business was thriving they decided to take a giant leap of faith and do what they have always wanted to do, purchase a farm and leave the corporate life behind.   They sold their home in Tsawwassen and purchased an 11 acre farm in Central Saanich, the town that Lindsay grew up in.

If you’ve driven by the property (6440 West Saanich Road) you’ll notice that there is a lot going on, and a lot more to come. With beautiful walking gardens, animal pens for the kids and picnic tables for you to sit and enjoy a coffee and honey treat at. Lindsay will be reflecting on this amazing business story, including all the ups and downs.

As always, the meeting is held at 7am on the 2nd Thursday of every month at the Victoria Flying Club Dakota Café. Please join us on Thursday / November 14th / 7am and RSVP  john@harbourdigitalmedia.com if you plan on attending.
