Gary Powers – President, Pro Mac Manufacturing

With a diverse background in mechanical engineering, project management and entrepreneurship, Gary is uniquely suited to lead a diverse company such as Promac Manufacturing Ltd.  Gary became owner and president of the company in 2016 and has set out to build on the strong foundation of over 60 experienced and knowledgeable team members and loyal customer base.

Based in Duncan B.C., Promac has a long history on the island dating back as far as the 1940’s servicing the local forest industry.  Over the last couple of decades, the company has diversified into a recognized leader in mechanical design and manufacturing for industry, sawmill wear parts and machinery and an OEM for excavator mounted brush cutters and mulchers.

Forward-thinking and innovative, Gary is focused on making Promac the best in it can be for our customers, employees and the community.
